Are you calm under pressure, a tech problem-solver at heart, and love the buzz of live broadcast environments? We’re on the hunt for a Senior Outside Broadcast Technician to drive the technical excellence behind our Outside Broadcast operations across South East QLD and the QLD Broadcast Hub.

If multi-camera productions, complex integrations, and on-the-fly troubleshooting are your zone of genius — this role was made for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee, maintain, and operate all technical equipment across OB facilities and the QLD Broadcast Hub.
• Set up and manage complex video/audio systems, including Ross, Panasonic, and EVS equipment
• Ensure remote technical integrations with club venues and live feeds are functioning perfectly
• Handle CCU operation, video signal checks, and live comms for track hosts and production teams
• Provide management with technical insights, equipment status updates, and repair coordination

 What You Bring:

• 5+ years in television production and OB technical operations
• Deep technical knowledge in broadcast tech, IT networking, and signal flow
• Experience with Ross, Panasonic, EVS and similar broadcast tools
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure, live TV environments — adaptable, calm, and confident
• Clear communicator, team builder, and decision-maker
• A Medium/Heavy Vehicle License or willingness to obtain one
