What You’ll Do

Step into a pivotal leadership role where you’ll shape the future of our technology operations, drive service transformation, and lead strategic partnerships to enhance resilience and efficiency. Reporting to the Head of Technology – Operations & Resilience, you'll head the Service Management & Resilience team, ensuring 24/7 operational excellence across all Tabcorp locations.

  • Drive transformation – Partner with top-tier third-party suppliers to enhance service maturity and operational outcomes.
  • Own resilience strategies – Build and execute robust resilience plans, ensuring rapid recovery when it counts.
  • Shape end-user compute & service management – Work with strategic partners to drive innovation and elevate our digital workplace experience.

What You’ll Own & Influence

You will be the driving force behind the evolution of our operational maturity. Leveraging your strong technical background, you’ll lead service management, end-user computing, and resilience strategies while working closely with Tier 1 service providers to enhance performance and drive continuous improvement.

As a leader in our resilience strategy, you'll play a key role in ensuring operational continuity, including providing on-call oversight during critical moments. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders and strategic partners to ensure our technology is ready to perform during key periods like the Autumn Racing Carnival and Spring Racing Carnival, being front and centre with key stakeholder groups to drive alignment and execution.

What You’ll Bring

  • A strong technical background with experience in enterprise infrastructure, end-user computing, and IT service management.
  • Extensive leadership experience in large-scale ICT environments, with a track record of service transformation and operational maturity.
  • A strategic, disruptive mindset with confidence in leading from the front and championing our service transformation agenda.
  • Proven expertise in Service Management & Technology Operations, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
  • Experience transitioning from a deep technical role into leading mature operational services, working with third-party strategic partners to drive service excellence.
  • Hands-on experience managing Tier 1 service providers within a managed services model.
  • ITIL Certification and a strong commercial understanding of service levels.
  • Deep knowledge of 24/7/365 enterprise environments and customer-facing platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Lean, DevOps, and emerging technology best practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to foster collaboration across business and technology teams.
  • A solid grasp of IT governance, cybersecurity, risk, and compliance.
