How you'll be part of the action

As a Cloud Security Engineer (Mid-level), you’ll play a key role in keeping Tabcorp’s cloud environments secure and resilient. Reporting to the Lead Security Engineer, you’ll design and maintain security controls across AWS.  You’ll collaborate with project teams, embed security into new initiatives, and drive automation to make our operations smarter and safer.

• Create and maintain guardrails for secure cloud configurations
• Deploy and validate security controls across AWS and Azure environments
• Assist in building secure cloud solutions for new projects and data centre initiatives
• Integrate cloud security with monitoring and incident response processes
• Identify automation opportunities to streamline security operations
• Collaborate with teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions aligned with compliance standards

Your game changing qualities

You’re a confident problem-solver with good technical expertise and a passion for cloud security. You thrive in fast-paced environments and know how to balance innovation with compliance.
You enjoy working across teams, solving problems through collaboration, and applying modern engineering practices to keep cloud environments safe and resilient.

• Experienced in securing AWS (other cloud platforms a bonus!), with strong skills in designing resilient AWS environments
• Proven ability to implement cloud-native security services, tools, and automation
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code and DevSecOps practices
• Certifications preferred: AWS Certified Security – Specialty and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (or Professional)
• Ability to integrate security with SIEM/SOAR and incident response workflows
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks and regulatory obligations, with excellent communication skills to convey complex security concepts
