  • Full Time - Permanent

Love racing and sport? Got a nose for a great story, an ear for terrific audio and eye for brilliant content?
This is your backstage pass to one of the great starting points in racing and wagering media.

We’re on the hunt for a creative powerhouse to drive the continuation and growth of Racing HQ, our flagship racing and wagering show at Sky Sports Radio. You'll be the engine behind the mic —steering the daily rundown, shaping on-air content, ensuring everything runs like clockwork, and even jumping into the conversation from time to time.

This isn’t your average desk job. It’s hands-on. Fast-paced. And right at the heart of the action.

This is an on-site role at Frenchs Forest in Sydney, mostly Monday-to-Friday but with the potential for occasional weekend work.

Game to join us?

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Run the show (literally): Line produce Racing HQ and help get us to air smoothly every day
  • Shape the sound: Own the rundown, hit the breaks, cue the guests, and keep the broadcast sharp.
  • Create killer content: Think beyond the mic — plan, collaborate, produce and push out content across multiple platforms
  • Be a tech-savvy storyteller: Help manage podcasts, audio edits, and digital content ideas and executions
  • Be the glue: Liaise with teams across Sky Sports Radio to keep everything connected
  • Be heard: Scope to develop an on-air voice and potentially contribute on-air when the moment calls for it

What You Bring:

  • You’re creative, committed, thoughtful and thrive under pressure.
  • A sharp news sense and editorial instinct, with excellent attention to detail and ability to follow company style and content guidelines.
  • Impeccable communication skills—written, verbal, and everything in between.
  • Detail-obsessed with solid production skills (audio editing, podcasting, etc.).
  • Can manage multiple tasks, make an informed decision and have a knack for content that resonates.
  • An interest in or strong understanding of wagering and the racing industry is highly preferred.
