About the Role

Step into a role that will accelerate your career in Commercial Finance. As our next Management Accountant, you’ll support the Finance Manager – Media & International and partner closely with the Sky business to manage (provide a high level summary of the role). At same time you’ll also gain broader exposure across the wider Commercial Finance team on enterprise-wide issues.

Working between our Frenchs Forest Sky office and our Sussex Street office, you’ll be get hands-on experience, real visibility, and the chance to build strong commercial foundations in a business that moves quickly.

What You’ll Do

• Support month-end, year-end and half-year reporting, including preparation of management packs and core financial deliverables.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning, engaging regularly with key business stakeholders.
• Provide financial, commercial and trend analysis to help shape insights, recommendations and decision-making.
• Ensure P&L accuracy and compliance, and support audit requirements as needed.
• Partner with the Sky business and broader Commercial Finance team across operational and enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team by identifying process improvements and providing flexible support to the Finance Manager.

About You

You’re someone with strong motivation, curiosity, and the capability to succeed in a fast-paced commercial finance environment. You don’t need to be the finished product — we’ll help you grow — but you do bring a strong foundation, a willingness to learn, and the drive to make an impact.

You’ll bring:

• CA/CPA qualified or working toward completion
• 2–3 years’ experience in finance, accounting or similar analytical roles
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data
• Good communication skills and ability to build productive stakeholder relationships
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion, Smart View) desirable but not required
• Media/TV exposure helpful but absolutely not essential
• High levels of initiative, ownership and eagerness to grow your commercial skillset
