Step into a role where every second counts and every broadcast matters. As an MCR Operator within Sky Racing Broadcast Services, you will be at the heart of the action, helping deliver world-class racing coverage to audiences across Australia and beyond. Working alongside production, studio and broadcast teams, you will keep our channels  

Your role 

Reporting to the MCR Operations Lead, this role is responsible for coordinating, managing and monitoring Sky Racing's broadcast and transmission network. You will combine technical expertise, operational excellence and teamwork to ensure our racing coverage reaches customers reliably and on time. 
 

• Coordinate and monitor incoming and outgoing broadcast transmission signals 
• Operate television and communications equipment across live broadcast environments 
• Maintain technical quality standards across digital and linear channels 
• Troubleshoot broadcast issues and drive timely operational resolutions 
• Collaborate with production and technology teams to optimise performance 
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across broadcast operations 

 
What you'll need to succeed 

The successful candidate will bring strong technical broadcast knowledge, a calm and solutions-focused mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional outcomes in a fast-paced environment. You thrive under pressure, work collaboratively, and take pride in maintaining high operational standards. 
 

• Experienced in modern television broadcast systems, workflows and operations 
• Strong knowledge of digital video, audio and Internet Protocol workflows 
• Proven ability to solve technical issues in high-pressure environments 
• Ability to prioritise competing demands while maintaining attention to detail 
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills across diverse teams 
• Proven capability to adapt quickly to new technologies and processes
