Why this role matters
Ever wondered what keeps live media and broadcast services running when it really counts?
Based in Frenchs Forest, Sydney, this is an (almost) entry level opportunity to step into the world of broadcast and media technology. Vacant due to an internal promotion, the role sits within our Media and Broadcast Technology team and is ideal for someone early in their information technology or broadcast career who is keen to learn, hands on, and ready to grow.
This is a lower tier Broadcast Engineer and Level 1 Information Technology Support role, where you will be trained, mentored, and supported as you build practical skills in a live, always on environment. If you are a go getter who enjoys problem solving and wants exposure to broadcast systems, automation, and real-world incident management, this role is a great launchpad.
Your role in action
Reporting into the Broadcast Services leadership team, you will provide Level 1 support across media and broadcast platforms that power live services and customer experiences. You will work closely with experienced team members, receive structured training, and gradually build confidence before operating independently.
Your winning edge
This role is about attitude, curiosity, and reliability as much as technical skill. You will succeed if you enjoy learning, take ownership of your work, and stay calm in fast moving, time critical environments.
