The Role

We’re now seeking a Senior Manager – Technology Procurement Partner, Major Vendors to join our Procurement group. As 2IC to the Head of Technology Procurement, you’ll sit at the heart of a high-performing team that drives value, innovation, and transformation across Tabcorp. Your key focus will be partnering with senior leaders and global technology vendors to shape strategy, drive commercial outcomes, and maximise the impact of Tabcorp’s largest technology investments.

Specifically, you will:

  • Lead strategic Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) for Tabcorp’s most critical technology vendors
  • Develop and implement vendor management strategies aligned to enterprise and transformation goals
  • Oversee end-to-end commercial lifecycle management across major technology and transformation contracts
  • Optimise vendor performance through governance frameworks, SLAs, KPIs, and scorecards
  • Negotiate MSAs, SOWs, contract variations, and complex commercial arrangements while ensuring compliance with governance, risk, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide executive-level insights, reporting, and commercial recommendations

Critically, you will also mentor, guide, and provide leadership across Procurement—uplifting capability, increasing engagement, and stepping in to lead the team where required.

What You’ll Bring

You’re a trusted commercial leader who navigates complex vendor landscapes, challenges thinking, and represents the business in high-stakes negotiations. You thrive in fast paced environments where strategy and execution intersect, and you additionally have:

  • Proven experience in technology procurement and vendor performance leadership
  • Exposure to major technology vendors across software, hardware and communications
  • Expertise in negotiating complex contracts and shaping strong commercial outcomes
  • Strong capability in building and governing SLAs, KPIs, and performance frameworks
  • Ability to create executive-level reporting, insights, and commercial analysis
  • Experience mentoring or leading procurement teams and uplifting capability
