Your opportunity 

Ready to shape the future of one of Australia's most complex network environments? You'll lead the design, delivery, and optimisation of enterprise network solutions supporting retail sites and venues nationally. Working across Palo Alto security technologies, Cisco networking, software-defined wide area networking and cloud connectivity, you'll provide technical leadership while partnering closely with vendors and key stakeholders. 

How you'll be part of the action 

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Networks, you'll lead network projects end to end while maintaining operational excellence across the enterprise network. Key to the role is spearheading L3 escalation, technical governance, architecture standards, vendor accountability, and network platform lifecycle ownership. 

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex network projects and initiatives. 
  • Design enterprise-scale solutions supporting national retail and venue operations. 
  • Drive software-defined wide area networking strategy and optimisation. 
  • Lead Palo Alto security architecture, Panorama and threat prevention initiatives. 
  • Produce high-level and low-level network designs. 
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring across the network team. 
  • Partner with Accenture, vendors and stakeholders to deliver outcomes. 
  • Participate in a rotating twenty-four-hour national on-call roster.

You're a trusted network specialist who combines deep technical expertise with leadership capability and enjoys influencing strategic outcomes. 

Core stack: Palo Alto, Cisco, Cisco SD-WAN, Meraki SD-WAN, Arista, F5, and AWS/Azure. 

  • Significant experience designing, building and supporting enterprise cloud network solutions. 
  • Advanced expertise with Palo Alto security platforms, Panorama and threat prevention technologies. 
  • Proven capability producing high-level and low-level designs and leading delivery. 
  • Strong experience designing and supporting large-scale Cisco environments. 
  • Extensive capability across software-defined wide area networking architecture and operations. 
  • Proven ability leading complex projects through implementation and handover. 
  • Strong mentoring and technical leadership capability. 
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes across technology teams.
