What you’ll do

The Data Analyst will adeptly translate complex data into actionable insights, enabling data-driven decisions that drive the organisation toward its strategic goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, primarily in the Risk business unit but not exclusively, to identify business trends, provide actionable insights, and contribute to data-driven strategies.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the Risk business unit with actionable insights through expert data analysis
  • Validate risk system data for accuracy and reliability
  • Analyse structured & unstructured data to uncover trends and patterns
  • Design dashboards and reports using Tableau
  • Translate business needs into analytical questions
  • Support risk rule development and audits
  • Present clear, data-driven insights to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with engineers to enhance data pipelines
  • Monitor KPIs and support business reviews
  • Identify commercial opportunities and lead data projects
  • Build and maintain data models, automation tools, and dashboards
  • Streamline processes from data intake to visualisation

What you’ll bring

  • Degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics or similar (Master’s desirable)
  • Degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics or similar (Masters desirable)
  • 2+ years’ experience in data analytics (Risk,AML,fraud,financial crime experience essential)
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, Databricks, Tableau, Excel
  • Solid grasp of stats techniques (regression, forecasting, algorithms)
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and platforms including, SQL, Databricks, Python, Tableau, and Excel
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis techniques such as regression, forecasting, and familiarity with data science algorithms
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and time management skills
