We’re entering an exciting new chapter at Tabcorp, with bold initiatives underway to transform how we connect with customers and deliver value to our retail partners. We're reimagining the role of our venues - bringing experience back to betting by creating spaces that are vibrant, connected, and built for our diverse customers.
At the same time, we’re focused on delivering a true omnichannel experience that seamlessly blends our physical and digital presence. This is a pivotal time to be part of the industry, and we’re looking for a General Manager – Retail Channel to lead the way. It’s a challenging and influential leadership role, perfect for someone ready to shape the future of one of Australia’s most iconic brands.
This isn’t just a standard retail gig. It’s a bold opportunity to reimagine our retail channel into a sustainable, segmented, and customer-led asset. You’ll creatively lead our commercial negotiations with venue partners, modernise the in-venue experience, and redefine how we engage with our venue partners and TAB agencies.
It’s all about delivering smarter tech, personalised offers, and stronger customer outcomes, while securing long-term commercial benefits for Tabcorp.
What You’ll Do
Lead the Retail Transformation
You’ll be at the helm of one of Australia’s largest retail networks – nearly 4,000 venues nationwide. Your mission? To reset the strategy, drive commercial success, and embed a truly customer-first mindset across the entire channel.
Modernise the Experience
We’re not here to refine around the edges. You’ll lead the transformation of in-venue experiences, integrating digital innovation with traditional formats to create seamless, personalised journeys for customers across all touchpoints.
Elevate our Partnerships
You’ll lead strategic negotiations and deepen relationships with key venue partners and associations. Your ability to balance value creation and commercial returns will be critical to long-term success.
Drive Loyalty and Growth
Driving retention, spend and satisfaction – you’ll help our retail channel evolve into a powerful growth engine.
Lead with Purpose
You’ll shape the strategy and performance of a high-impact team, foster cross-functional collaboration and ensure every initiative aligns with compliance, risk management, and operational resilience.
