About the Role

Step into a role that will accelerate your career in Commercial Finance. As our next Management Accountant, you’ll support the Finance Manager – Media & International and partner closely with our media business (Sky), while also gaining exposure to broader enterprise-wide initiatives across Commercial Finance.

This role is suited to someone who has already built some foundations in management accounting or commercial finance and is ready to step up their exposure, autonomy, and stakeholder engagement.

You’ll build strong commercial foundations, get hands-on experience with real business decisions, and work closely with stakeholders in a team that values learning, collaboration, and practical impact. This role works closely with teams based across Frenchs Forest and Sussex Street, giving you exposure to different parts of the business and strong visibility with senior stakeholders.

Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will:

• Take ownership of month-end and reporting cycles, including management packs and insights
• Play a hands-on role in budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking
• Provide commercial analysis and insights to support decision-making
• Help ensure P&L accuracy, governance and audit support
• Work closely with stakeholders across Sky and Commercial Finance on key initiatives
• Contribute to process improvements and smarter ways of working
• Build your commercial capability through hands-on exposure and coaching

About You

You’re motivated, curious, and keen to grow your commercial finance skillset. You don’t need to be the finished product — what matters most is your foundation, mindset, and willingness to learn. This role will suit someone who’s comfortable with core management accounting tasks and keen to stretch into broader commercial exposure and more stakeholder-facing work.

You’ll bring:

• Early-career experience in finance, accounting, analytics or similar roles
• A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or similar
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data
• Clear communication skills and comfort engaging with stakeholders
• Exposure to ERP or reporting tools helpful but not required
• Interest in commercial finance and how financial insights drive business decisions
• A proactive, team-first mindset and genuine desire to develop
