About the Role

As Senior Category Manager – Technology Procurement, you’ll sit at the centre of major technology sourcing decisions across Tabcorp. You’ll partner closely with Technology and Wagering to shape how we source software, platforms, data products and cloud services — leading global sourcing activity, negotiating complex contracts, and managing strategic vendors that underpin our digital platforms.

This role suits someone who thrives in complex environments, builds strong relationships with technical leaders, and takes real ownership of execution — from strategy through to delivery. You will also:

• Own category strategy and sourcing roadmaps across software, platforms and cloud
• Lead go-to-market and sourcing activity for major technology initiatives
• Run complex global tenders, negotiations and contract management
• Build strong supplier relationships and drive performance and value
• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape commercial outcomes
• Apply a strong risk, governance and regulatory lens to procurement activities
• Ensure commercial value is delivered post-contract

About You

You’re a commercially sharp technology procurement leader who’s comfortable working with engineers, architects and senior tech stakeholders. You’re persistent, organised, and known for executing — not just designing strategy. You’ll also bring:

• Strong experience across software, platforms and cloud sourcing
• Confidence leading complex negotiations and contracts
• The ability to build trust with Technology, Legal, Finance and Risk
• Comfort working with global vendors across time zones
• Strong follow-through and delivery discipline
