Working across Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco routing and switching, software-defined wide area networking, cloud networking and enterprise connectivity platforms, you'll support critical infrastructure that keeps our retail and venue operations connected nationally. Based in Melbourne, you'll work closely with vendors, internal teams and technology partners in a collaborative, face-to-face environment. 

Your role in action 

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Networks, you'll balance business-as-usual operations and project delivery while supporting Tabcorp's national retail and venue network. 

  • Support end-to-end network operations across retail sites and venues nationally. 

  • Manage software-defined wide area networking platforms and connectivity services. 

  • Configure and support Palo Alto firewalls, virtual private networks and security services. 

  • Deliver network projects from implementation through operational handover. 

  • Troubleshoot complex Cisco routing and switching environments. 

  • Partner with Accenture, vendors and stakeholders to deliver outcomes. 

  • Support cloud networking across enterprise environments. 

  • Participate in a rotating twenty-four-hour national on-call roster. 

What you'll need to succeed 

You're a well-rounded network professional who enjoys solving problems, building relationships and delivering outcomes in complex enterprise environments. 
 
Core stack: Palo Alto, Cisco, Cisco SD-WAN, Meraki SD-WAN, Arista, F5, and AWS/Azure. 

  • Experienced supporting enterprise networks across data centres, branches and cloud environments. 

  • Strong capability managing Palo Alto firewalls, security policies and virtual private networks. 

  • Experienced with Cisco routing and switching, including Border Gateway Protocol and Open Shortest Path First. 

  • Proven capability supporting software-defined wide area networking environments. 

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve production issues. 

  • Experienced balancing operational support with project delivery responsibilities. 

  • Exposure to cloud networking and modern connectivity solutions. 

  • Passion for collaboration, continuous improvement and customer outcomes.
