This newly created role sits at the heart of our People and Culture team, focused on transforming payroll capability through smarter systems, stronger insights, and continuous improvement. As we uplift how we deliver payroll services, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless employee experiences while new systems and processes evolve.

How you'll be part of the action

Reporting to the Senior Manager, People and Culture Systems, this role partners closely with payroll, finance, and technology teams to support, optimise, and evolve payroll systems. You’ll help drive stability while enabling ongoing transformation across platforms including Aurion and UKG.

  • Lead payroll systems support, resolving issues and improving service delivery
  • Drive system enhancements across Aurion and Time and Attendance platforms
  • Analyse payroll data to identify trends, risks, and variances
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver system improvements and integrations
  • Support testing, releases, and continuous system optimisation initiatives
  • Ensure payroll compliance through accurate data, controls, and reporting

What you'll need to succeed

You’re someone who thrives in complexity and brings clarity through data, systems, and collaboration. With a strong foundation in payroll and systems, you confidently navigate change while keeping accuracy and compliance front of mind.

  • Experienced in payroll systems and processes within complex environments
  • Proven ability to analyse data and identify system variances
  • Strong Excel capability, with exposure to coding or SQL advantageous
  • Experience with platforms such as Aurion, UKG, or Oracle
  • Strong understanding of payroll compliance and financial impacts
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and translate technical concepts clearly
