What you’ll do 

The Racing Producer Editor is a key role in our digital team and responsible for overseeing and managing the production of racing-related content. This role requires a unique combination of communication editorial skills, a deep understanding of the racing industry, and proficiency in video production. The individual in this role will play a crucial part in creating engaging and high-quality racing content for various platforms.

In addition, key responsibilities will include:

  • Uphold high production standards, surpassing benchmarks.
  • Review and enhance content regularly for quality improvement.
  • Develop and produce diverse digital content for digital and broadcast inc web, social media, blogs, podcasts, newsletters, YouTube and apps.
  • Manage content across platforms, ensuring timely publication and quality adherence.
  • Optimise content for engagement metrics, suggesting enhancements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for timely, goal-oriented project completion.
  • Foster audience engagement by crafting resonant content.
  • Analyse data to gauge campaign effectiveness, offering strategic insights.
  • This position requires availability for work on public holidays and weekends.

What you’ll bring

  • 4+ years of experience in digital content production, preferably in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of digital content strategies.
  • Excellent written and editorial skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in content management systems, social media platforms, and digital analytics tools.
  • Experience with video and audio production and editing software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Proven experience in content production.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools.
  • Communications/Producer or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
