As our Social Media Manager, you will craft and execute dynamic content strategies, harnessing the unique strengths of each platform to elevate brand visibility and connection.

What you’ll do 

  • Develop a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with organizational goals, determining platforms, content themes, posting frequency, and engagement tactics.
  • Execute strategies to achieve business objectives like brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.
  • Create engaging content for various platforms, including text, images, videos, and interactive elements.
  • Manage social media channels, scheduling posts and monitoring interactions promptly.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, integrating them into strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure social media efforts align with business goals.
  • Use analytics tools to track performance metrics and optimize future campaigns.
  • Monitor competitor activity for differentiation and improvement opportunities.
  • Stay informed about platform updates and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Attend events, capturing content to engage our fan base.
  • Collaborate across the business to achieve social media strategy and business objectives.
  • This position requires availability for work on public holidays and weekends.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years' experience in branding, digital, and social media.
  • A passion for racing and sport. Wagering knowledge desired.
  • Profound social media knowledge, including troubleshooting.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills for streamlined project execution.
  • Proficiency in design for problem-solving and idea communication.
  • Self-motivation, creativity, and hard work ethic.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools like Meta, Sprinklr, or Sprout Social.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for tailored, engaging content.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with social media analytics tools.
  • Creative flair and visual aesthetics expertise for captivating content.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing strategies, priorities, and platform algorithms.
