What you’ll do

This role is responsible for executing safer gambling business controls across wagering and media. This includes executing processes and controls around marketing and promotions, self-exclusion and customer monitoring of potential problem gamblers. Responsibilities include:

  • Review marketing & promotional material to ensure SG compliance.
  • Process self-exclusion applications, renewals breaches and revocations.
  • Conduct customer monitoring to identify potential problem gamblers by:
  • Follow intervention protocols according to policies, including completing calls to customers identified as potential problem gamblers.
  • Respond to queries from business teams (e.g. customer service centre, retail, etc.) and external queries (e.g. community services, regulators)
  • Be the first escalation point for customer and/or regulator complaints.
  • Record and resolve complaints in the first instance, where possible
  • Manage complex customer complaints.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience working with highly regulated businesses/industries and knowledge of various legislation (e.g. AML/CTF, Safer Gambling, Wagering, Privacy etc.) – preferable, but not mandatory.
  • Entry level experience in risk management, internal audit, compliance, consulting or process improvement with a medium to large sized corporate organisation.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a commercial, risk management or business-related field - preferable
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
