Senior Manager – Financial Crime Governance & Reporting

Tabcorp is going through a period of significant change and transformation, but our commitment to safe, responsible and well-controlled operations remains unwavering. Financial Crime plays a critical role in that commitment by ensuring financial crime risks are identified, understood and effectively managed across our business.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Financial Crime Strategy & Compliance, this is a high-profile leadership role within Tabcorp's Financial Crime function. You'll lead the Financial Crime QA team while overseeing the governance, reporting and regulatory engagement activities that support effective oversight of financial crime risk across the organisation.

Working across Financial Crime, Risk and Operations, you'll provide clear risk insights to senior leaders, manage regulatory and independent review engagements, and help strengthen Tabcorp's financial crime governance and assurance framework.

Specifically, you will:

  • Lead the Financial Crime QA function, driving capability uplift, assurance activities and continuous improvement
  • Own Financial Crime governance and reporting, including Executive, Board and regulatory reporting
  • Lead governance forums and reporting cycles, ensuring effective oversight, decision-making and action management
  • Manage regulatory and independent review engagements, coordinating stakeholder responses and remediation activities
  • Translate complex operational, compliance and assurance information into meaningful risk insights and recommendations

About You

You are an experienced Financial Crime, Governance, Compliance or Risk professional who combines strategic thinking with strong execution.

Comfortable operating in complex, highly regulated environments, you build credibility through sound judgement, quality reporting and practical advice. You can cut through complexity, challenge the status quo where required and transform large volumes of information into clear insights that support better decision-making.

You will bring:

  • Experience in financial crime, governance, compliance, assurance or risk management within a regulated environment
  • Strong knowledge of AML/CTF obligations, financial crime risk frameworks and regulatory expectations
  • Experience managing regulatory reviews, audits or assurance activities and preparing Executive or Board-level reporting
  • The ability to synthesise complex information into clear insights, themes and recommendations that support decision-making
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and leadership skills, coupled with a continuous improvement mindset

Why This Role Matters

This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in the continued evolution of Tabcorp’s Financial Crime capability.

You’ll help shape how financial crime risk is governed, reported and understood across the organisation, while influencing decisions at senior leadership and Board level. Your work will directly contribute to strengthening risk oversight, regulatory confidence and organisational accountability.

You’ll benefit from:

  • Direct exposure to senior leaders through Executive and Board reporting
  • The opportunity to strengthen governance frameworks within a complex and highly regulated environment
  • A role with visible impact on risk management, compliance outcomes and organisational decision-making
  • The chance to contribute to a significant financial crime uplift program and help shape future capability
