Your opportunity
International operations and commercial opportunities bring financial crime risks that vary across markets, customer segments and regulatory environments. At Tabcorp, you’ll help leaders understand those differences and make informed decisions about where and how the business operates.
As Senior Manager – Financial Crime Risk – International, you’ll combine enterprise risk assessment with specialist advice on international activities, acquisitions, investments and partnerships. Your work will connect financial crime expertise with decisions that have strategic and commercial significance.
Your role
Reporting to the Head of Financial Crime Strategy & Compliance, you’ll lead key enterprise financial crime risk activities and provide advice across international operations. You’ll turn complex information into clear assessments, helping senior stakeholders understand exposures, consider controls and determine appropriate responses.
You will:
Lead and evolve the Financial Crime Enterprise Risk Assessment framework to strengthen understanding of risk across the business
Assess financial crime risks across international markets, jurisdictions and customer segments
Provide specialist advice on anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism financing and sanctions requirements
Lead financial crime due diligence for acquisitions, investments and strategic partnerships
Present clear risk insights and recommendations to senior leaders and governance forums
Monitor regulatory developments across relevant jurisdictions and guide changes to risk management practices and controls
What you’ll bring
You bring depth in financial crime risk and the ability to see both the detail and its wider business implications. You’re confident working through ambiguity, weighing complex information and presenting a clear view to senior stakeholders.
You’ll bring:
Senior experience in financial crime risk or compliance within a complex, regulated environment
Strong capability in enterprise financial crime risk assessment frameworks and methodologies
Knowledge of anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism financing and sanctions obligations
Experience navigating regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions
The ability to assess complex business activities and translate findings into practical recommendations
Experience managing regulatory reviews and audits
Strong commercial judgement and the credibility to influence senior and executive stakeholders
What’s in it for you
You’ll join a growing financial crime team with an ambitious uplift agenda and scope to strengthen how risk is understood across the enterprise. The combination of international exposure and involvement in significant commercial decisions offers an opportunity to broaden your experience and make a lasting contribution to Tabcorp’s financial crime capability.
