Your opportunity
Digital products and customer experiences are evolving quickly, bringing new considerations for how financial crime risk is identified and managed. At Tabcorp, you’ll help shape those decisions, working with digital leaders to ensure financial crime requirements are understood and built into how the business operates.
As Senior Manager – Financial Crime Risk & Compliance – Digital, you’ll lead a specialist team and bring clear advice, sound judgement and constructive challenge to digital initiatives and day-to-day operations.
Your role
Reporting to the Head of Financial Crime Strategy & Compliance, you’ll lead the digital financial crime risk and compliance function. You’ll partner with product, technology and business teams to translate regulatory obligations into practical outcomes, strengthen controls and support informed decisions.
You will:
Provide specialist advice to digital leaders on financial crime risks, obligations and emerging issues
Lead financial crime risk assessments for new products, technologies and changes to customer journeys
Partner with product and technology teams to embed effective controls into systems and processes
Oversee financial crime incidents, remediation and control effectiveness activities, ensuring issues translate into meaningful improvements
Lead quality assurance outcomes and use findings to strengthen compliance practices
Coach and develop specialist compliance and quality teams, building capability and accountability
What you’ll bring
You bring strong financial crime expertise and the judgement to apply it in a changing digital environment. You’re comfortable influencing senior stakeholders, challenging decisions where needed and helping teams find workable solutions.
You’ll bring:
Experience leading financial crime risk or compliance activities in a complex, regulated organisation
Strong knowledge of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing obligations, with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements
Experience advising on digital products, online services or account-based customer environments
Proven capability in risk assessments, controls, incident management and remediation
People leadership experience, with the ability to develop specialist teams and strengthen performance
Clear communication skills and the credibility to influence senior business, product and technology stakeholders
What’s in it for you
