The Senior Manager – Platforms & Reliability is accountable for the strategy, delivery, and operational excellence of core technology platforms and reliability functions across the organisation. This role leads and integrates the functions of Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Environment Management, and Performance Testing to ensure high-performing, secure, and resilient technology services.

The role is responsible for enabling fast, safe, and reliable delivery of applications and services to production, ensuring platforms are standardised, scalable, observable, and continuously improved to meet business and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute platform and reliability strategy aligned with tech goals.
• Oversee platform design, build, and lifecycle management.
• Implement SRE practices, including SLOs, error budgets, and incident response.
• Manage non-production environments and standardise provisioning.
• Lead performance testing and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
• Mentor multi-disciplinary teams and manage vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and cost optimisation.

• Deep experience in platform engineering and SRE.
• Strong cloud, scripting, and architecture knowledge.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement.
