The Senior Manager – Infrastructure & End-User Compute (EUC) is accountable for the strategy, delivery, and operational excellence of the infrastructure and workplace technology services. This includes data centres, servers, storage, , collaboration tools, and end-user devices and services.

Operating within a highly outsourced Tier 1 vendor environment, the role ensures that infrastructure and EUC services are reliable, secure, cost-effective, and aligned with business objectives.

This role leads a team of infrastructure and EUC professionals responsible for driving modernisation, optimising service delivery, and enabling a seamless user experience while maintaining high levels of availability, performance, and security.

What you’ll do

  • Define and execute the data centre and infrastructure strategy aligned with organisational goals.
  • Lead modernisation initiatives for highly available, scalable, and high-speed infrastructure platforms.
  • Oversee capacity, performance, and resilience of core infrastructure services, including disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Implement ITIL-aligned processes for incident, problem, and change management, ensuring compliance with SLAs and KPIs.
  • Manage CAPEX/OPEX budgets, vendor relationships, and outsourcing agreements to deliver secure, cost-optimised solutions.
  • Sponsor and deliver infrastructure projects on time, scope, and budget while championing automation and proactive monitoring.

What you’ll bring

  • Extensive experience managing large-scale IT infrastructure in complex enterprise environments, with a strong focus on outsourced data centre operations.
  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including high-availability architecture, scalability, performance optimisation, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Proven ability to define and execute infrastructure strategies, lead modernisation initiatives, and champion automation and proactive monitoring solutions.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL-aligned service management processes, compliance requirements, and risk mitigation practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability in building and developing high-performing teams, managing vendors, and overseeing outsourcing agreements.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to deliver projects on time, scope, and budget.
