We have an exciting opportunity for a Sponsorship and Events Executive (12 month contract) to support our very talented Sponsorship and Events Manager assisting with wagering partnership strategies and managing deliverables across racing and sports portfolios as well as managing events and activations. Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement partnership strategies across Racing and Sports portfolios to drive key business objectives including brand awareness, acquisition/retention, and customer rewards.
  • Manage the delivery and execution of first-class events and activations in conjunction with marketing squads.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of key brand activations and initiatives with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship of partnerships which may include contract negotiation; asset utilisation and reporting; administration such as invoicing, budget tracking and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to implement marketing campaigns and promotions; branding and onsite activations.
  • Represent Tabcorp and host at various events and functions as required.
  • Build, maintain and manage positive relationships with key external agencies, media and industry bodies.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders including but not limited to Marketing, Product, Content, OCEO, Retail, Legal, Risk and Digital.
  • Manage and ensure all communications adheres to Responsible Gambling and Advertising Codes of Practice.

What you’ll bring

  • 3+ years’ experience in developing and executing partnerships/sponsorships, analysing their effectiveness, tracking deliverables, and amending planned activities to achieve and/or exceed objectives.
  • Knowledge and understanding of brand and communications management.
  • Knowledge of advertisingand marketing activities including the development and execution of advertising and promotional campaigns at a state or national level.
  • Experience working with a creative/activations agency.
  • Experience in event and activation management.
  • Sound understanding/interest in sport and/or racing desirable
  • Strong organisation and priortisation skills.
  • High energy with the ability to work in a very fast-paced, client centric environment.
  • Solid computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite.
