About the Role

Are you ready to play a key role at Tabcorp and lead our Financial Accounting team? We’re looking for a results-driven and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join us. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll lead an onshore and offshore finance team, ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of Tabcorp's financial reporting and compliance. Your leadership will drive process excellence and support strategic initiatives that contribute to Tabcorp’s financial success.

Specifically, you will:

• Lead and develop a high-performing onshore (Melbourne-based) and offshore finance team, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results across the enterprise;
• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring proper control and governance over the general ledger and account reconciliation processes using Oracle Fusion and ARCS;
• Provide trusted business advisory support and be a key liaison with external auditors, internal stakeholders, and senior management;
• Lead Tabcorp’s Legal Entity Review (LER) process and ensure all supporting financial analysis is completed;
• Drive finance process improvements, efficiencies, and automation initiatives to deliver better business outcomes; and
• Support the Head of Finance in executing key finance transformation and improvement projects.

Specifically, you’ll bring:

• Proven ability to lead, coach and mentor teams, manage change, and deliver process improvement initiatives in a shared service or outsourced environment;
• Proven experience managing finance operations within large, complex corporate environments;
• Demonstrated expertise in financial accounting and audit practices, with strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards;
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate, influence, and negotiate effectively at senior levels;
