Reporting to the Digital Risk Manager, you’ll work with teams across Technology and the Business to analyse and manage cyber risks—ensuring everything stays within a safe and manageable level. This is a first-line risk role, meaning you’ll be hands-on in identifying and mitigating risks before they become bigger issues.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Mitigate Risks – Develop, implement, and monitor cyber security controls to protect the organisation and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Threat Modelling & Secure Design – Spot risks before new solutions are implemented and help design secure architectures from the ground up.
  • Ensure Compliance – Keep the company aligned with cybersecurity policies, regulations, and industry standards to minimize risk and maintain security best practices.
  • Keep Records & Reports – Maintain accurate documentation of risk assessments and generate reports for senior leadership to support decision-making.
  • Respond to Cyber Incidents – Support incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and helping improve future responses.
  • Educate & Raise Awareness – Support  cyber security awareness programs to help employees stay informed and vigilant against threats.
  • Communicate Risks Clearly – Prepare reports and present findings to key stakeholders, ensuring risk levels and recommendations are well understood.

This role is perfect for someone who loves problem-solving, collaborating with teams, and making a real impact in keeping the organisation secure. If you’re ready to dive into the world of digital risk and help shape a safer future for Tabcorp, we’d love to hear from you!

What you’’ll bring

  • Tertiary qualification or on the job experience in technology and cybersecurity roles, particularly in governance, risk and compliance, IT or Risk Management
