What you’ll do

The Oncourse Operator is a customer service role and is responsible for delivering an exceptional experience by providing an accurate, efficient and friendly betting and information service to all customers. We want to leave a lasting impression to ensure we are front of mind for all their future betting needs!

 As a member of our Oncourse team, you’ll make a difference by delivering seamless customer experiences coupled with real-life racing and sports action. Life here isn’t just what you do, it’s about how unique contributions work together to put customers at the heart.  This is a fun, exciting and social role where you will be on site at the tracks and part of the racing action! 

  • Place bets and provide information for all Racing and Sports products (some of these products include fixed odds options)
  • Assist customers with using our new App
  • Provide prompt, efficient and friendly service to all customers
  • Provide general information such as scratchings, track conditions, events and bet types.
  • Comply with regulations and maintain confidentiality
  • Ensure accurate cash control and be security minded
  • Assist with training as required

*Some roles at Tabcorp require checks prior to joining for regulatory, security or safety and you must be at least 18 years of age and have a current driver’s licence/own motor vehicle

*This position would require availability of approx. 2-3 shifts per month. Rostering is dictated by a racing calendar and will vary.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Customer service experience and a client-centric mentality with the ability to build customer loyalty
  • Ability to work independently/unsupervised
  • Strong Tech/smart phones knowledge to assist customers with our new app
  • Aptitude to problem solve by translating and interpreting information
  • Ability to quickly comprehend and translate information to assist customers placing a bet
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Cash handling experience highly regarded
