About the Role

As Head of Financial Crime Strategy and Compliance, you’ll play a highly strategic and influential role, driving financial crime risk strategy, ensuring AML/CTF compliance, and acting as Deputy AMLCO for Tabcorp’s Australian reporting entities. You’ll also transform Tabcorp’s financial crime risk management by enhancing our capability and strengthening our systems, processes and controls.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Operationalising Tabcorp’s AML/CTF Program and Sanctions Policy, and ensuring our systems and processes meet those requirements ;
  • Providing your point of view and opinion over various business initiatives, projects products and customers from your AML/CTF risk assessments that you and your team will deliver;
  • Providing expert compliance advice and influencing decision-making across the organisation;
  • Representing Tabcorp in engagements with regulators, law enforcement, and industry bodies; and
  • Leading, developing, and empowering a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

About You

You’ll also bring:

  • Deep expertise in AML/CTF laws, sanctions, and financial crime risk management
  • A proven ability to lead teams, engage stakeholders, and drive compliance transformation.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to assess risks, develop policies, and implement best-in-class frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating financial crime risks.
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage executives, regulators, and industry partners.
