What you’ll do

As a Senior Broadcast Systems Architect, you’ll design, develop, and optimise broadcast technology infrastructures, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and future readiness. You’ll lead the transition to IP-based and cloud workflows, integrating automation and next-gen broadcasting technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement IP-based broadcast solutions (ST 2110, NMOS, AES67, SDVN, SMPTE).
  • Drive SDI-to-IP migration and hybrid cloud-based broadcasting.
  • Develop automated, cloud-based production and content delivery workflows.
  • Evaluate and integrate hardware, software, and network solutions for high-performance transmission and playout.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in AI-driven workflows and virtualised environments.

What you’ll bring

  • 8+ years in broadcast technology, media infrastructure, and systems architecture.
  • Expertise in IP-based broadcasting, cloud workflows (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), and SDI-to-IP transitions.
  • Experience with playout automation, encoding/transcoding, and video networking.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, redundancy planning, and virtualised production environments.
  • Proven ability to lead technology migrations and collaborate with vendors and engineering teams.
