Are you an experienced studio professional who thrives under pressure and knows what it takes to deliver flawless live broadcasts? At Sky Racing, we’re searching for a Studio Operations Manager to take the reins of our fast-paced studio and control room environment — keeping our content sharp, seamless, and seen across Australia and beyond.

This is your opportunity to play a central role in one of the country’s most dynamic broadcast teams, overseeing a 22-hour, 7-day operation, leading a skilled crew of control room operators, and ensuring our racing content hits the mark, every time.

What You’ll Do

• Manage day-to-day studio and control room operations across live and recorded programming
• Lead a high-performing team, overseeing rosters, shift planning, and professional development
• Ensure smooth delivery of broadcasts by coordinating with editorial, production, and engineering teams
• Champion innovation, operational efficiency, and studio process improvements
• Be the go-to for resolving live operational issues and adapting to evolving broadcast demands
• Support rollout of new technologies and workflows while fostering a culture of adaptability and collaboration
• Maintain operational documentation and uphold compliance, risk, and safety standards

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in studio or live broadcast operations, with leadership capabilities
• Strong working knowledge of broadcast systems, workflows, and live production environments
• Ability to manage fast-paced, complex operations while keeping your team calm, focused, and motivated
• Experience in racing or sports broadcasting is a bonus — but not essential
• A passion for continuous improvement and a proactive approach to technology and innovation
