We are now looking for a dynamic Sponsorship & Events Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the NSW/ACT Sponsorship & Events Manager. In this exciting role, you’ll support the planning, coordination, and delivery of high-impact events across Tabcorp’s Racing and Sport sponsorship portfolio. You’ll work closely with external partners and internal stakeholders to bring our brand to life, create memorable customer experiences, and drive commercial outcomes—all aligned to our customer-first strategy.
What you’ll do
Support the planning and execution of premium Racing and Sports events that deliver against business goals.
Assist in managing sponsorship relationships, fostering collaboration and strong connections with our racing and sporting partners.
Help implement sponsorship strategies that align with brand and marketing priorities.
Coordinate corporate hospitality programs, managing event calendars, budgets, guest lists, and ticket distribution for key customers and stakeholders.
Play a key role in campaign execution, ensuring we get the most from our sponsorships and assets.
Attend and represent Tabcorp at sponsored events (including evenings and weekends – time in lieu provided).
Support event delivery across NSW/ACT, including occasional interstate travel.
Track and report on sponsorship performance, support post-event reviews, and recommend areas for improvement.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and suppliers to deliver seamless events.
Ensure all communications meet Responsible Gambling and Advertising Code of Practice requirements.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of sponsorship and event processes and procedures.
Provide general administration support: processing POs/invoices, budget tracking, contract management, supplier set-up, travel coordination, and more.
What you’ll bring
A tertiary qualification in marketing, business, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing, with a strong background in sponsorships and event delivery.
Proven experience managing large-scale events—experience in racing or sport is highly desirable.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Confident budget manager with excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
High attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
A flexible approach to work hours, including availability on weekends/evenings during key events.
A creative mindset with the ability to enhance the customer and guest experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management tools.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the wagering or entertainment sector is a bonus.
