We’re on the lookout for a curious, strategic and insightful Insights & Research Manager to help shape the future of Australia’s biggest wagering and racing brands — TAB and Sky Racing.

Join our Voice of Customer team, part of Tabcorp’s Data & Analytics Centre of Excellence. We’re a tight-knit group of researchers, analysts and customer champions, working together to bring the customer perspective into everything we do — from strategy and brand to experience and innovation.

 

About the Role

In this role, you’ll lead and deliver a range of research and insight initiatives across the business — from market and brand tracking to customer segmentation, competitive analysis and strategic deep dives. You’ll connect the dots between data and human behaviour, turning insights into action that influences big decisions.

Working closely with our Senior Manager – Insights & Research, you’ll help embed customer obsession across Tabcorp by generating fresh, actionable insights and making them land in a meaningful way with teams across the business.

This is a great opportunity for someone who’s commercially savvy, brand-aware and excited by the idea of helping shape a culture that truly listens to its customers.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and deliver research projects that shape brand, marketing, and customer experience strategies
  • Manage our brand health tracking and lead key research engagements with external agencies
  • Run internal research using our customer community and panel to support fast, actionable insights
  • Analyse and connect data across sources, turning it into clear, compelling stories and recommendations
  • Drive adoption of customer segments and personas to ensure strategies reflect real customer needs
  • Share market trends and competitor insights to spark future-focused thinking across the business

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A genuine passion for understanding people — what they want, need, and care about
  • Solid experience in insights/research (agency or client side)
  • Deep knowledge of quantitative methods and brand/market research
  • Strong storytelling skills — confident presenting insights to senior stakeholders
  • Smart with numbers and data
  • A proactive, get-it-done mindset and excellent project management skills
  • Skilled in tools like Q, Qualtrics, InMoment, and Excel
  • A degree in business, marketing, psychology or a related field
