Help shape a safer tomorrow where possibilities become reality.

At Tabcorp, our People and Culture Team are the behind-the-scenes game changers—bold thinkers, relationship builders, and passionate professionals creating extraordinary employee experiences. We're not just ticking boxes—we’re elevating the employee journey and redefining what’s possible. Ready to make your mark?

Be part of something different. Be part of excellence.

We’re looking for a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Partner who thrives in technical environments and wants to make a real impact. This isn’t your standard WHS role — it’s a chance to help shape Eight Mile Plains into a Centre of Excellence for MAX, working closely with our technical teams to embed safety into every aspect of operations.

About the Role

As our QLD Health, Safety & Wellbeing Partner, you’ll work side-by-side with MAX Techs and operational leaders to drive proactive risk management and elevate safety standards across complex technical environments.

You’ll be deeply involved in:

  • Safety in Design and technical risk management across gaming machine operations.
  • Partnering on hazards related to electrical safety, mechanical systems, manual handling, tools/equipment and psychosocial.
  • Supporting compliance in areas such as electrical safety, human factors, ergonomics, and fatigue management.
  • Coaching leaders and teams to take ownership of all aspects of safety and embed it into daily decision-making.
  • Using data and insights to drive smarter, safer outcomes.
  • Acting as the subject matter expert on projects that will shape the future of our industry.

This role is boots-on-the-ground, hands-in-the-detail, and focused on building capability, shifting mindsets, and delivering safer outcomes — together.

You’ll be part of a National HSW Team that plays a significant role across all aspects of the TABCORP business.  You will be supporting multiple divisions — from corporate environments to on-course venues for TAB and SKY Racing. Whilst based at Eight Mile Plains, the role will require regular travel to other TABCORP sites, including our Brisbane corporate office.  Interstate travel may be required.

What You’ll Bring

  • A Graduate Diploma or Diploma in Health & Safety.
  • Internal Auditing qualification (preferred).
  • 5+ years’ experience in a H&S role, ideally with exposure to technical or engineering environments.
  • Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation and standards.
  • Ability to engage with technical teams and understand engineering and maintenance processes.
  • A mindset focused on problem-solving, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a team that’s redefining safety in technical operations.
  • Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your expertise is valued.
  • Help shape a culture of curiosity, accountability, and care.

What you’ll get

  • Diverse leave options: bonus leave of 5 days annually, cultural, volunteer.
  • 18-weeks parental leave.
  • Access to corporate discounts and our leading health and wellbeing app.
  • Monthly employee social activities, competitions, awards and free tickets to events.
