About the Role

Step into a role that will accelerate your career in Commercial Finance. As a Management Accountant based in Melbourne, you’ll partner closely with the Gaming, Technology, Corporate and broader commercial teams, supporting day-to-day performance, forward-looking insights, and decision-making in a fast-moving, highly commercial environment.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across from gaming operations to technology-enabled initiatives, while also gaining exposure to enterprise-wide commercial finance priorities. This role offers genuine hands-on experience, visibility, and a strong foundation for future growth within Commercial Finance.

What You’ll Do

  • Support month-end, half-year and year-end reporting, including preparation of management packs.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning across wagering and commercial portfolios.
  • Deliver financial, commercial and trend analysis to support performance and decision-making.
  • Ensure P&L accuracy, governance and compliance, supporting audit requirements as needed.
  • Partner with gaming, corporate  and technology-adjacent stakeholders on operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative finance team by identifying process improvements.

About You

You’re someone with strong motivation, curiosity, and the capability to succeed in a fast-paced commercial finance environment. You don’t need to be the finished product — we’ll help you grow — but you bring a solid technical foundation, good judgement, and the confidence to engage with stakeholders.

You’re a quick learner who takes ownership, enjoys working with people, and is motivated by understanding how finance supports better commercial and operational decisions.

You’ll bring:

  • CA/CPA qualified or working toward completion
  • 2–3 years’ experience in finance, accounting or analytical roles
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data
  • Clear communication skills and ability to build productive stakeholder relationships
  • ERP experience (Oracle Fusion, Smart View) desirable but not essential
  • Exposure to wagering, technology or highly commercial environments helpful
  • Strong ownership mindset and eagerness to grow your commercial skillset
