Step into a role where quality is non-negotiable. As Senior Quality Control Test Manager, you’ll be the authority that ensures every IT build meets the highest standards before release. In one of Australia’s most regulated digital environments, your decisions will protect integrity, compliance, and customer trust.

Your role in action

Reporting to the Head of Technology-Release Management, you’ll operate independently of feature teams and act as the final quality gatekeeper. You’ll have the confidence to stop builds that don’t meet the definition of ready and the expertise to embed robust quality frameworks across the enterprise.

• Own and enforce enterprise-wide quality strategy aligned with regulatory requirements
• Define and govern quality frameworks, standards, and controls across all IT builds
• Act as independent quality gatekeeper for releases, ensuring readiness and compliance
• Design and embed modern testing models across all layers of the tech stack
• Drive automation and CI/CD practices that balance speed with control
• Provide confident, evidence-based quality insights to senior leaders

What need to succeed

You’re a strong, detail-driven professional who thrives on accountability and isn’t afraid to push back when standards aren’t met. Your passion for quality and process excellence makes you a trusted authority in regulated environments. In addition, you will have:

• Proven ability to enforce quality governance and stop non-compliant builds
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to process integrity
• Significant experience in quality assurance within regulated industries
• Confidence to influence and challenge engineering teams when required
• Deep knowledge of modern testing strategies, automation, and CI/CD pipelines
• Independent mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills
