About the Role

As Manager, Financial Crime Strategy and Compliance, you’ll play a key role in strengthening Tabcorp’s financial crime risk frameworks and policies. Reporting to the Head of Financial Crime Strategy and Compliance, you’ll ensure our systems, policies and processes effectively manage AML/CTF risk. This is a hands-on, policy-focused role with scope to influence strategy, support senior leaders, and help shape the financial crime narrative across Tabcorp. Therefore, you will:

  • Lead the maintenance and enhancement of Tabcorp’s AML/CTF Program, policy framework, and related documentation
  • Manage governance and reporting processes, including board and committee submissions, action tracking, and meeting coordination
  • Conduct enterprise and supplementary risk assessments, and provide input on the AML/CTF treatment of products, services, and processes
  • Analyse risk data and performance metrics to generate insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making
  • Oversee the use of Tabcorp’s risk management systems (e.g. TRACS) for control testing, issue management, and incident tracking
  • Provide expert advice and support to internal stakeholders, and contribute to internal and external reviews of financial crime frameworks

About You

You’re an experienced financial crime professional with a strong grasp of risk frameworks, governance practices, and policy development. You know how to navigate a complex regulatory environment, and your ability to engage stakeholders and influence decisions sets you apart. You’re highly organised, analytical, and proactive and you’ll bring:

  • Solid experience in AML/CTF compliance roles (Line 1 or Line 2)
  • Strong knowledge of AML/CTF Act, Rules, and Program requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in drafting and maintaining policy and governance documentation
  • Excellent written communication skills, including board/committee reporting
  • Strong stakeholder management and analytical capabilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with risk systems

What You’ll Get

  • A pivotal role shaping Tabcorp’s financial crime governance and policy environment
  • Exposure to executive decision-making, regulatory engagement, and strategy
  • Supportive team culture and opportunity for professional growth
  • Five additional leave days annually, 18 weeks of parental leave, and access to corporate discounts and wellness programs
  • Monthly social activities, staff awards, and event tickets
