What you’ll do

As a key member of the SKY Media commercial team, the Partnership Manager plays a vital role in managing and growing high-value racing and sports partnerships. This role is central to delivering commercial outcomes, enhancing partner satisfaction, and ensuring the seamless execution of all contractual rights and entitlements.

You’ll work closely with race clubs, sporting bodies, wagering operators, and internal stakeholders to manage day-to-day relationships, while also identifying opportunities for innovation, added value, and long-term growth. A passion for racing and sport, paired with a strategic mindset, will set you up for success.

This is a high-impact role with national reach, offering the opportunity to represent SKY Media at major race days, industry events, and key partner meetings across multiple states.

Key Accountabilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of key racing and wagering partners.
  • Manage partnership documentation, including contracts, rights schedules, and deliverables.
  •  Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all contractual obligations, broadcast, sponsorship, contra advertising, branding, reporting, and payments.
  • Coordinate internal teams (broadcast, production, legal, finance) to support partner activations and integrations.
  • Lead regular partner meetings and performance reviews to ensure alignment and track outcomes.
  • Identify and support new commercial opportunities that drive mutual value.
  • Align partnership activities with SKY’s broader commercial strategy and growth targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders in racing, sport, and media.
  • Stay informed on industry trends to proactively identify opportunities for SKY and its partners.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience in managing partnerships or sponsorships, including relationship development and stakeholder engagement.
  • Effectively manage multiple concurrent tasks by applying strong organisational and time management skills, ensuring partnership benefits are delivered on time and in line with business priorities.
  • Proven experience collaborating with internal stakeholders - such as SKY & TAB wagering partnership teams, Finance, and Legal - to support the seamless execution of contractual activities and deliver on partnership commitments.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong communication and presentation abilities. 
  • Knowledge of and/ or interest in the wagering or adjacent markets including sport or racing.
