Are you hands-on, curious, and love bringing technical equipment back to life? We’re looking for a Workshop Technician to join our team at Eight Mile Plains. In this role, you'll be repairing and maintaining gaming machines, building your technical expertise, and learning how to diagnose faults efficiently and cost-effectively. Your role in action

This full-time role reports to the Workshop Supervisor and places you at the centre of technical excellence. With Monday–Friday shifts from 6:00am to 3:30pm, you’ll enjoy afternoons free while making a real impact on the reliability and performance of our gaming machines.

  • Repair and maintain gaming machines to ensure consistent performance and reliability
  • Diagnose faults efficiently and deliver cost-effective technical solutions
  • Optimise workshop processes to improve turnaround times and service quality
  • Create accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and technical findings
  • Drive continuous improvement by sharing insights and technical expertise
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve service and quality standards

What you'll need to succeed

You’re someone who thrives on solving problems, working with precision, and growing your technical expertise. You’ll bring curiosity, commitment, and a strong sense of teamwork to every challenge.

  • Experienced in repairing electronic or electro-mechanical equipment (or similar)
  • Certificate II in Electronics or an equivalent qualification highly regarded
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and stay organised
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills with a solutions-focused mindset
  • Clear and confident verbal and written communication
  • Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams with accuracy
