Your role, your impact

This role leads day to day retail operational compliance across South Australia, one of Australia’s most regulated environments. You will act swiftly and decisively on compliance matters locally while supporting venues across other States remotely. Your work directly supports a new commercial model launching 1 July, including the rollout of new terminals as part of a two-year transformation.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead day to day retail operational compliance across South Australian venues
  • Drive rapid compliance responses within a highly regulated operating environment
  • Deliver venue openings, closures, equipment moves and terminal deployments
  • Conduct in venue audits, risk assessments and corrective action planning
  • Support cross state teams with expert operational and compliance guidance
  • Strengthen retail excellence as a key competitive differentiator

 

What you'll need to succeed

You are a confident operator who thrives in regulated environments and enjoys making practical, high impact decisions. You balance compliance expertise with strong relationship building skills, bringing others on the journey even when working across distance.

  • Significant experience in retail operations, compliance or risk focused environments
  • Proven ability to act quickly and decisively within complex regulatory frameworks
  • Strong understanding of operational risk, audits and corrective action management
  • Ability to build trusted relationships across locations and teams
  • Clear, confident communication style with venues and corporate stakeholders
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to cross state support and changing priorities
