About the Role

As a Senior Investigator, you’ll be trusted to safeguard Tabcorp’s reputation, customers, and people by leading complex and high-impact investigations. You’ll provide expert advice, uplift capability across the team, and influence how we proactively manage integrity and compliance risk. Your work will enable meaningful cultural, procedural, and systemic improvements. Specifically, you will:

  • Lead complex investigations involving potential non-compliance with policy, regulatory, and code of conduct requirements
  • Prepare high-quality Briefing Papers and Management Reports to support Legal and regulatory outcomes
  • Represent Tabcorp when engaging with law enforcement, regulators, and in court proceedings
  • Manage sensitive whistleblower matters with confidentiality and procedural fairness
  • Identify systemic issues, control breakdowns, and recommend integrity-focused improvements
  • Mentor, guide, and uplift Junior Investigators to enhance team capability.

About You

You bring proven investigative judgment and the ability to interpret complex situations, interrogate information critically, and apply structure to ambiguity. You’ll also bring:

  • 8+ years in corporate, regulatory, or law-enforcement investigations
  • Strong capability conducting interviews, analysing evidence, and delivering defensible findings
  • Strong understanding of the Investigative process with on the ground experience
  • Excellent written communication skills with confidence reporting to senior and legal audiences
  • Strong understanding of procedural fairness and whistleblower legislation
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality outcomes
  • A collaborative, resilient mindset and the highest level of integrity
  • Investigations/Law/Risk/Security qualifications and ASX-listed experience will all be highly regarded.
