About the Role

This isn’t just a leadership role — it’s your chance to redefine how Australians experience wagering and entertainment in venues. As our Retail State Manager – NSW & ACT, you’ll lead a high-performing field team and partner closely with venue operators to deliver commercial growth, elevate compliance, and create a seamless digital + in-venue experience.

Your influence will stretch from the bar counter to the boardroom — shaping strategy, strengthening relationships with major hospitality groups, industry groups, and championing standards that set the benchmark for venue performance and customer experience. Specifically, you will:

  • Lead, develop and empower a high-performing BDM team to execute in venue.
  • Own the NSW & ACT retail P&L and deliver commercial growth.
  • Negotiate and manage commercial agreements aligned to strategic objectives.
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with hospitality groups, agents and industry bodies.
  • Ensure consistent venue performance, compliance and brand standards.
  • Set and maintain a clear vision for venue presentation and operational excellence.
  • Connect and optimise the digital + in-venue experience across all touchpoints.

About You

You’re a commercially savvy leader who thrives in venue-based or retail channel environments — building trusted partnerships, elevating operational execution, and driving results through people. Additionally, you will bring:

  • Experience leading a dispersed team to drive accountability and performance.
  • Proven ability to deliver commercial growth and manage P&L outcomes.
  • Strong strategic and negotiation skills with influence at all levels.
  • A customer-first mindset with passion for improving the in-venue experience.
  • Strong operational discipline with a focus on compliance and execution.
  • Ability to build commercial value and long-term partnerships.
  • Experience in licenced on premise and understanding of the NSW & ACT market.
